Booking an unregistered villa could have consequences 

It is now a legal requirement that Spanish property agents and owners register their property with the local authorities if it is to be used for holiday rental. This is to help regulate an industy rife which is rife with fraud and misleading advertising.

Suprisingly, the majority of villas still remain unregistered, even some of the largest international holiday companies do not comply with this legislation, putting you at unnecessary risk. 

Before you book a Costa Blanca Villa Holiday - look for the AEAT tourism registration number for the villa of interest, if it's legal then the property's registration number must be included online in its description. We strongly advise against booking an unregistered villa even if you are booking with a company. There is the 
risk that the property might not be available for rental by the time of your holiday, the owner or rental agency could even receive up to a 90,000 euro fine before you arrive. Also, you will not have the peace of mind of knowing that the local tourist office is aware of the property and there to assist you.
